WHO WE ARE

Mariska was Diagnosed with Focal Cortical Dysplasia at age 4. After more than a 1000 seizures in 15 months she had had two Right Frontal Cortical Resections in 2014 and 2015. Her seizures unfortunately returned and was paralyzed in her left leg. She is still recovering physically from a suspected minor Venous Stroke. We are currently trying Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy and we are definitely seeing an improvement with Mariska’s overall health and just like all other treatments it takes time. The Family Hope Centre in Pennsylvania, USA will be visiting South Africa in February 2017 and hoping for great results to better her quality of live even more. Mariska is only 7 going on 8 years old and confronted challenges at her young age that some people will never have to face in their lifetime, endured the unimaginable, and stayed strong and still fighting to date. Imagine the possibilities for her future….
